1.1. ABSOLUTE GROUNDS FOR
REFUSAL (Art. 7) (Alicante).
This consists of a collection of OHIM's decisions rejecting
Community Trade Marks on absolute grounds at different instances,
that is to say the Examinations Division, Appeal Courts and
Annulments Division, as well as the European Court of Justice.
Furthermore, it consists of decisions from said bodies changing
or confirming decisions taken by the Examinations Division
on said grounds. This Conference was held during the 3rd International
Trade Mark Conference, organised by FORUM MANAGEMENT in Alicante
on 26th October 2000.

1.2. PARALLEL IMPORTATIONS
(Buenos Aires).
This consists of a summary of the situation of parallel imports
with respect to Industrial Property in the European Economic
Arena. This Conference was held during the XIX International
Congress of the Inter-American Association of Industrial Property
(ASIPI) in Buenos Aires. 23.10.2000.
