He is the current Chairman of the Intellecutal Property Committee of CEOE (Spanish federation of industries), Vicepresident of the Official Chamber of Industrial Property Agents and of the Association of Spanish Agents established before the International Bodies of Industrial and Intellectual Property (AGESORPI). He has been President of the European Community Trade Mark Association (ECTA), of the Spanish group of AIPPI and Vice-President of the European Patent Institute (EPI) and Reporter General of the International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (AIPPI). He has given numerous conferences in Spain and abroad on various Industrial Property matters and has been professor of the Master's of Industrial Property at the Advanced School of Business Administration and Management (ESADE) and of "Magister Lucentinus" in Industrial Property which is organised by the University of Alicante. He has received the AIPPI Award of Merit and is a Member of Honor of AIPPI.
