WORLD INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DAY AND SPORT
This year, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) celebrates World Intellectual Property Day on April 26 by highlighting the relationship between sport and intellectual property (IP) rights.
In this regard, as WIPO reminds us, sport has an impact on IP from the perspective of those who drive it-creators, inventors, and entrepreneurs-making it essential for protecting and promoting inventions, designs, and trade marks.
For this reason, we would like to join this initiative by advocating, as WIPO emphasizes, that intellectual property should enable sport to remain prosperous, dynamic, and accessible to everyone.
